hi my truck tax is about 900 baht a year, i just wondered if anybody knows if im allowed to fix a metal cage/frame on the back to hold more goods, you know the type of thing market trader have, and if so do i have to pay a higher road tax for this.

No. In fact its Thai law that you should have one if driving on the elevated highways. Also you should cover the load.

Ps. I'm presuming you mean the chrome side bars.

All changes to a verhicle need to told to the Road Licensing Department - take your truck along there and they will tell you. Also a good idea to inform yuor insurance company
