Great atmosphere and, better still, none of the commercial tripe served up by the Thai DJs at almost every after-hours club in the Sukhumvit ghetto.

NO Pitbull, NO Adele, NO Black Eyed Peas, NO Katy Perry, NO Lady Gaga and definitely NO Gangnam Style.

LOL I almost always wear flip flops everywhere,.... Never wore them back in the states but here they are comfortable and convenient, especially when it rains

Cover is 300 baht with 2 free drinks. There are a number of freelancers for sure but, as you know, you'll find those at any club where there are lots of foreigners. There are quite a few non-hookers too, though.

Funny you should ask about Tunnel. I think it got closed down because they were inconsistent with their tea money contributions.

I actually thought that Bash would be a spiritual successor to Tunnel given a couple of the guys behind the latter are involved at the new venture but, sadly, this is not the case.

The vibe is completely different compared to Tunnel. Lots of lights, visual projections and fog machines versus Tunnel's underground, almost shebeen-like feel.

Sound system at Bash struck me as a bit shrill, in need of balancing. Still very different from the bed or qbar vibe

All said it is closer to Mystique than the tunnel, but that is not entirely a bad thing.
