jbrain
The continued vilification of TS is slanderous. The Dems lost the plot a long time ago and their continued obsession with TS is unhealthy and certainly detrimental to them. No matter what the majority on here think, before the Dems go on stage and accuse people of serious crimes they should have evidence to back up their claims. They claimed they would release new evidence, but as usual had nothing to show. How much deeper can they dig their own hole. jbrain
Thailand must be the only country in the world where a convicted criminal on the run with more cases on the roll can be defamed. backtonormal
The PTP's cronies continue to push this country, inch by inch, closer to either dictatorship or another coup... Rich teacher
Open your other eye. The 13 cops are there to prevent the last supper by hiding the evidence. More loose talk about 'evidence'. There is no evidence linking Thaksin to the MiB. Having a photo taken with someone doesn't equate to funding, organizing and controlling a group of 'terrorists' I along with the rest of the world are dying to see this 'evidence' if it really exists. If it doesn't all those making loose accusations need to shut up Kattiya claimed to be the leader of the (or at least part of) the Black Shirts, he also was quite eager to show how he was under Thaksin's orders. Thaksin > Kattiya > Black Shirts. QEDuh Right and other people CLAIM that the MiB were organised by the army/ government. What is required is evidence. Without it, you can't accuse people on a public stage or you get convicted of defamation, just like Jatuporn was.

FarangTalk
The PTP's cronies continue to push this country, inch by inch, closer to either dictatorship or another coup... Every time the Thai military and their backers use unconstitutional methods it strengthens Thaksin's position and emboldens his supporters. Using the Yellow shirt movement to try and oust the government and staging a coup has come back to bite them on the ar*e. No sympathy and prolonged and widespread civil conflict remains an inevitability IMO, as it has since the Yellows took their militant actions to the streets.

You keep asking for evidence sources and other silly questions. Ask any one who has been here more than a month if any of this is needed in court when you have Thaksin's money and signed letters of resignation of people in power in his pocket. What get's me is that he hasn't got enough smarts to hire decent spin doctors just a bunch of no nothings to run around and shout prove it show me. While in the mean time he continues to break the law and they say the charges were politically motivated. Regardless of the fact that they were real crimes and he did them. He didn't have the balls to challenge the decision and he knew there was a whole bunch of other crimes he was equally guilty of hence he went into exile became a citizen of another country and left a bunch of dummies holding the bag thinking he was a saint. MrSlatersParrot
Part of if not in fact the major motive of this'' investigation'' is the fact that the whole subversive group Thaksin and his cronies cobbled together and financed is now disintegrating. This investigation diverts attention from that melt down in the relationship twixt the assorted factions of the RedShirt movement misled by Arisman and Jutuporn, the remmnants of the Communist party led by aunty Thida along with the assorted groups of Uncle Tom Cobbleigh and all. These groups have realised they were and are but cannon fodder for Thaksin , his family and their brown nosing acolytes whose real aim is the total control of Thailand, its peoples and the money in the state coffers. Indeed this investigation is a classic red herring, worthy of the old style trials so beloved by despotic monomaniacal dictators the world over. just waffle really

Popular Post ramrod711
On October 17, Thaksin's lawyer Worawit Lahlaeng and Pheu Thai Party spokesman Promphong Nopparit filed a defamation complaint on Thaksin's behalf at the Lumpini Police Station. Thailand is the only country I know of, where you can be charged with libel, by a convicted fugitive, on the run from justice, who wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the -ss. Thaksin threatened his own country when he said he would spend a lot of money with arms dealers. Who gives a crap what he has to say. I hope he gets convicted on all the other counts the courts are considering. I would also suggest that khun Kamronwit have all his ducks in a row, before he goes after Democrat leaders, he may end up in court himself.

Popular Post zyphodb
As far as I can see, if you were to investigate any Thai Politician PTP or Democrat for fraud/corruption they would be found guilty, And so would the BiB doing the investigation if they were investigated as well. Until the day comes when Thai's don't become Police or politicians just to line their own & their family's pockets we are going to repeat history in Thailand over & over again, I won't hold my breath waiting for the change, I'll just carry on living with & doing my best to enjoy the anarchy that is the Thailand we know (& mostly) love...
khunken
Were these the same police who fled the scene when the red shirts took over the centre of Bangkok in2010? Half of them come from Lumphini police station, one of the most corrupt in the city. That they are put together to support Mr mega-corrupt is hardly surprising. I hate to say this, but when a country's law enforcement body becomes an arm of the government, it is half way between a failed state & a dictatorship. I'm afraid we're getting slowly closer to another coup.

Nothing left to argue about. Time and again it's being suggested that 'red-shirt' supporters will voluntarily leave or put TV on ignore. Of course not because they feel restrained in their democratic pursue of the red truth, but because of the annoying different opinions. They seem to be the ones who would rather have nothing to argue about (or no one to argue against them).
