Lomsak/ Bung Nam Tai Expats?

Featured Replies

Hi all, Will be staying in Ban Bung Nam Tai early next year.

We are considering a move there and want to get to know the place before we commit.

It would be good to know others living in the same area, also schools, gyms, pools, shops, houses to rent etc

There doesn't seem to be too much info on-line.

Many thanks in advance.

You really should visit before moving.

We've visited on day trips in the past and seen a lot of farang type houses in Bung Nam Tai (maybe 30+).

I trust you mean Ban Bung Nam Tao,situated on highway 21 between Phetchabun and Lom Sak.

Neighbouring villages include Bung Khla on the 21 and Ban Ta Pon where the 7 / 11 and Tesco mini mart is.

That's the village! Seems like a lot of expats live there.

I know of around 10 to 15 guys in the area,6 or 7 of whom I know and have personally spoken with or drank a beer with on the odd occasion.

Hi, I have just moved in to Bung Nam Tao, about 6 weeks now, happy to meet up with anyone in the area for a chat , beer, motorbike ride, (Kawasaki Versys), cup of tea, whatever.

I have been coming here for short breaks for nearly 7 years , but got a house here now so settling down here with occasional trips away.

Pm me , be good to meet some of the local peeps, (I,m a Dylan fan too, Stoneyboy).

PP

Phetchabun and surroundings some 4 months a year. Greetings

I amnot exactly sure where your village is at the moment but will check with the gf. She is from Dong Kwang which is 12 kilometers out of Lomsak on the way to Petchebun.. If we can be of help in anyway let me know. The gf is a teacher and lived around here all her life so hopefully she can answer any questions you have. (if she can undedstand the question)biggrin.png
