Miss Wheelchair Thailand

As most of us know, Thailand seems to have a pageant for just about everything under the sun. There are plenty of unusual ones: pageants for fat ladies, pageants for elderly ladies, pageants for ladyboys, you name it. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a pageant for the Siam Cement Company.

I came across a photo showing some Asian contestants in a Miss Wheelchair Pageant. I got to thinking about Thailand, and sure enough, I found some talk on a forum about one that was held in Thailand in 2002. No photos though.

Does anyone know if they still hold the Miss Wheelchair Pageant in Thailand? Any photos of the contestants?

No idea where this particular pageant was held.

I remember when I was in Pattaya in November of 2002 there was some sort of a disabled persons pagent. It didn't seem to be limited to people in wheelchairs, though.
