Should read: '........putting CORRUPTable people in the right ministries.' With due acknowledgement to Ratcatcher.

Not a major overhaul, just putting able people in the right ministries. makes you wonder whatever happened with the initial handpicking based on 'knowledge', capabilities', 'potential' and 'suitability'. Probably Pheu Thai just has an enormous pool of such people

BTW a topic from two days ago showed the 'not major' number of new cabinet members whistling.gif

"Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, centre front row, joins a group photo session with her 23 newly appointed Cabinet members at Government House yesterday."

Whenever I see a government minister dressed in white like above for some reason it always makes me want to ask for "Two choc ices and a ninety nine please."

If you look closely at their pretty white uniforms, you'll see they're styled after navy officer flyers, complete with gold embroidered epulats and 'flying wing' citations. Their handlers must have fun at the store which sells uniforms: "Hmmm, this time, let's pick tank commando ribbons, a large multi-medal medalion, and a bunch of multi-colored citations to sew on over the left breast pocket - wouldn't that be impressive!" I wonder if they all also sport a medal depicting bamboo spikes and petrol soaked tires, to commemorate their stewardship of the 2-month Red Shirt and MIB take-over of Bangkok in 2010. .....perhaps with a depiction of a couple of burning buildings in the background.

The PM is flying hither and dither. On taxpayer's money of course and anything to avoid being in Bangkok doing the job she was put in office to do.

Quote: The premier said she would go on a roadshow this month to promote trade and investment./unquote. Promoting trade and investment on a roadshow is not a PM's duties. If government representation would be regarded a necessity (doubtful), there are other ministers for that task.
