Where To Find A Lockable Steel Enclosure

Featured Replies

I`m looking for a lockable steel enclosure in Pattaya.

It should have the security of a safe,

and a few slots for air circulation.

I want to place my

- APC "BR1500I" Back-UPS RS Series 1500VA 865W

- my Synology NAS and my router inside.

Coming home, after a couple of weeks, and everything is empty,

I would like to see the last videos of my ip cams on my Synology NAS.

So far, I only found the standart safe program,

but nothing with airslots.

There are a few rack manufacturers in Thailand you can google and they will deliver to Pattaya. None of these are very safe, you could soon break into any of them. Replacing your UPS, I would recommend you think about a pure sine wave one and with compact fluorescents or LED bulbs you can put your house lighting wiring circuit on it too and be safe from a power outage. I have done this with a 2000VA unit with 4 of 130 amp hour 12 volt deep cycle batteries. I have 5 hours protection on full load from a power failure, can also watch my TV system too. I also have a few Back-ups 1100VA but they won't run lighting being modified square wave.

One problem with high value technology & burglaries, to quote Arnie, they'll "be back!".

simpler solution is to upload snapshots to a remote server using motion detection.
