Offline Thailand Gps

Featured Replies

Can someone suggest or recommend what Thailand GPS maps to use in iphone for routing? A good and preferably free apps to go.

I have use Navfone in Malaysia & Singapore, that is cool for a very low price like USD 2. Now I am looking for something like this to be use in Thailand, most importantly must be use without Data.

No WAZE because it wasn't very accurate

Thank you

Maybe because a quick search on this forum itself would have given you the information you needed?

Anyhow, try Nostra if you want free. Or Garmin / Tomtom / Sygic / Igo if you have a JB'd iPhone.

Maybe the reason that no made a suggestion is because there are NO good offline maps for an iPhone. You can buy a good dedicated Garmin GPS or if you insist on using a phone, Nokia has the best map available.

with your attitude and this comment i hope it remains that way.

I'll move it to the mobile forum in hopes of better exposure but if the OP keeps that attitude I will be closing it.

unfortunately I didn't found a way to run Garmin maps on Android.....They seem to be the best one.

h90, I did a little search for Iphone GPS apps and couldn't find any free good apps. Sygic is very good but not free and not exactly cheap. It's a good alternative to buying a dedicated GPS as it's uses TomTom maps.

For Android there's also Sygic which is awesome for Navigation and for the free android Apps I recommend Locus - good maps but has to have data enabled to calculate the route when in Navigation mode.

yes but no support for Garmin maps....I have the TSM on my Garmin and some Naval Charts. Which are just unbeatable.

Having that on the 10.1 inch tablet would be amazing but it just doesn't exist. There is a Garmin software for my old symbian nokia which works ok (these 10 min between two crashes). A shame that Garmin is not making something like that for Android....
