Valentines Day at Ripley’s as the living dead “tie the knot”.

We now take you to Ripley’s: Believe It Or Not attraction at the Royal Garden Plaza in South Pattaya. A special Valentines Day group marriage ceremony took place at the attraction and the theme of the day was ghosts and ghouls.

As you can see the brides and grooms dressed in black and white wedding attire and they were made up to look like zombies. Nine Buddhist monks were in attendance to oversee the formal side of the ceremony. One of the couples who hold records for living with scorpions and other bugs in a confined space which was featured at Ripley’s, last year also tied the knot and brought along some of their bugs to witness the wedding ceremony.

A bizarre story from one of the more unusual tourist attractions here in Pattaya.

Watching the PCN on TV, they had a report about the number of weddings that happen on Valentines Day. They showed a number of shots from the place where you go to register your marriage.

There in the crowd was at least one of the couples from that Ripley's wedding, in full costume, waiting for their turn. Not sure if it was the Scorpion Queen and the Centipede King themselves. How ever it was, they picked a bad day to go as the place looked pretty packed.

the idea of getting married is scary enough without going to Ripleys to do it :o:D
