Have been seeing a few "too good to be true" bikes for sale in the TV classifieds of late.

Some members have made some comments. I decided to suss it out just a little bit more.

Below is an edited copy of a couple emails from myself to the "owner" and his reply's.

I am a civil engineer and worked for two years in Thailand. Rumeno are home.

The price is 120000THB = 3000 Euro total and not have to pay anything more than this (or

charges and taxes)

I sell the bike because I now live in Rumania Europa.

The bike has papers in Spanish and registration of Thailand, would like

buy in Thailand. All the documentation is in order, transferred to

my name, without charges or levies, this perfect engine, sheet and

painting.

The issue of bike and enroll your name becomes a

insurance company that is an escrow company.

With this company you can see and test the bike before

buy. You have one day for all this and up to 200km

drive the bike in Thailand and decide.

In the trial period you can bring a mechanic in Thailand

check engine and all mechanical.

This is how it's done

-I leave the bike at the company.

-The company will investigate all the papers to see if gestoria

everything is legal before delivery.

-After everything is checked and there is no problem the

company will contact you.

-You will be admitted to the company you then part of the price (800 Euro)

bail and for them to make the delivery to your house.

If the bike does not like the company will refund the deposit (800 Euro) and

It took a total of 5 minuets to confirm this con job taninthai.

I did it while the washing was in spin mode

Took me about 3 seconds to see it was a scam ,as your thread title states too good to be true,

Last week I could have had a cbr1000 2011 and an r6 think was 2009 320,000 bht for both of them .............lol

Well it's pretty much the oldest scam in internet classifieds... product incredibly cheap but unfortunately somewhere far away... eventually money is sent and never seen again..... preying on the dumb and greedy.

Use the report button in the classifieds section and it gets deleted. Simple as that.
