    We're having King Tides here in California recently, flooding parking lots and streets in coastal communities. Given that they're apparently due to a certain alignment of the Earth with the Sun and the Moon, it makes sense to me that it would be a worldwide phenomenon. Stay dry.

    Maenam beach, Samui, was pretty high tide this afternoon.... too....

    According to the tides chart, Saturday and Sunday has the highest tides for this year.

    I guess the storm is also adding a bit extra to the tides so it's very high. Even I was baffled by the high level of water.
