I just got the ASUS Infinity tf700 last week and it is a brilliant piece of equipment. The performance (speed, etc) excellent and a remarkable display at 1920x1200, same resolution exactly as my 24" DELL U2410 monitor. I got the 32GB version and added on a 32GB microSD card. I didn't get it with the add on dock as I figure if I ever need a keyboard/mouse I can connect via the USB port or Bluetooth. That is the only complaint I have so far and that there is no micro/mini USB port on it and had to buy an adapter for their 32 pin connector. Though that cost only $15.00USD. It is running Jellybean 4.1.1 now and ASUS seems pretty good at getting new firmware out. Haven't seen 4.2 for it yet though but it is a relative minor update adding multiple accounts to it.

The tf300 shown in your post is pretty much the same but lower resolution screen. My tf700 with combination case/stand.

I have the Padfone ( 1st gen ), though not really a Transformer, I am very happy with it, it has replaced my phone, my tablet and my netbook. It has still not been updated to JB, it now runs on 4.0.4. Asus has promised a quick update....

When connected to the keyboard dock, all my USB and hard drives are recognized, I also have found a USB-Ethernet adaptor that works perfectly...

I would go for the Padfone 2, but Asus has not planned a keyboard for it...

I have the Transformer TF700T and I love it. I got the keyboard and dock because I do a lot of emailing on the road, and also because it gives a brilliant battery life for watching movies on the aircraft.

I have a TF300 which is very good but at 1 month old the screen failed and ASUS were unable to repair it due to lack of spares in Thailand, however after about 7 weeks and many telephone calls to ASUS I received a new tablet.

I have the TF700 which was about 19,000B in Singapore when I bought it a couple of months ago, that also included the keyboard dock, a leather case and a 32gb card. So far no problems. It appears to work well on a wifi signal my Tosh notebook cannot receive.

I bought the Transformer TF101 shortly after it was released in the UK and opted for the add-on keypad (extra cost) as it doubled the battery life as well as providing full size USB ports. The keyboard sensing crapped out and didn't resume after firmware resets so ASUS UK suggested it could be either the pad OR the keypad and return under warranty. I told them I lived in Thailand and they said the warranty would be honoured there so no problems. About that time, the TF201 came out which included the keypad so with a view to having a tablet while the TF101 was getting repaired, I purchased the TF201 in the UK as well. It hasn't missed a beat and is my primary tool for email and web access when travelling (using it for this post). I still haven't sent the TF101 in for repair yet... too busy. If the later, higher spec models are as reliable as the TF201, along with ASUS's good local technical support and global warranty, I wouldn't pass one up. Just had an OTA firmware update a few days ago which went flawlessly.
