Chonabot, Khon Kaen, High Street.

The village/town where I live.

We have 1 bank, 1 Tesco and 1, 7/11.

But we have about 30 coffee shops and to my last count, 90 Mom and Pop shops.thumbsup.gif

Continueing with roadworks in our village.

DSC08317.JPG

The machine you see above while it is self propelled here when it is actually working it carries a large amount of water onboard and is towed by this

truck loaded with cement.

DSC08335.JPG

The road to be repaired was 1st covered with coarse blue metal then this rigup went to work with the truck putting down a layer of cement and the

machine behind grinding the old surface and adding the required amount of water to the mix.The picture below shows the part that does all the work.

Layer of cement

Comes out like this

DSC08357.JPG

It is then straight away rolled with one of those vibrating rollers.

DSC08361.JPG

The water truck you see above is just laying the dust to keep the residents happy.

DSC08364.JPG

The repaired section ( about 1km ) will then be graded and rolled over the next day or so then eventually topped with Hotmix.

Thanks Ron, nice photo report!

Would love, our city get one of these combinations, impressive, looks so "first world"!

May I give you the address of my village in E-San?

and you will give it to these workers, so they can come with their trucks to my village and do a new road we are waiting for since about 8 years; wai2.gif

I'll pass it on to Mr Prayut Chan-O-Cha. He should be able to help you. laugh.png
