If Petermik goes to watch the Man Utd game at Kiss Naklua this weekend, have a few beers and a meal, I am sure he will enjoy himself (unless Utd lose). Thank for the invite old chap but me in Kiss?.....nah never, win or lose it doesn,t matter its the football played that counts.

I had you down as a person of taste (especially in your high heels) not a CC,but seriously Kiss food I realise now there is no hope p.s. there is a fish and chip stand (second stand into LK Metro from soi Buk) that does potato fritters (scallops to the southern readers) 10 baht each and a good size absolutely brilliant for soaking up the Chang after a heavy session........well recommended (sorry JT maybe not your cup of tea I know)
champers
Off for a pizza tonight at Bella Italia (recommended) on 2nd Road with the girlfriend and her lovely 17 year old niece. Sometimes I wish I was 40 years younger.
Jingthing
This thread is getting scattered yet again. Please refer to the O.P. for guidance. If you can't keep at least roughly to the spirit of this thread, please do not post here. Thank you. In other words, in case this isn't clear enough, ONE post a week that actually provides useful, focused, and coherent information about local restaurants has more value for this thread than a HUNDRED posts that do not. The purpose here is not to have thousands of posts of random chaff that you have to read through to get to the actually ON POINT posts. Cheers mate. and God Bless You and your friends. 2nd Road between the the turn off for Jamesons and the sauna opposte Soi 6. Big Italian flag sign outside. Crisp bases and good choice of toppings. Very good pasta and gnocchi. Thais seem to like the spicy seafood spaghetti. Other Thai food is available. They have another outlet; Little Bella Italia; on Soi 33 just off Pattaya/Naklua Road. I always point at the tropical fish tank and ask for fish and chips. I think this is the better outlet of the 2. Straight opposite is Grottinos with an Italian owner and another on the pizza oven. Both restaurants give little treats at the end of your meal. Bella Italia gave customers a free beer or coffee on Christmas day. My girlfriend would be serving up meatballs if anyone tried it on with her niece. Follow my drift?

Throw in very good sports coverage and golf excursions are an added extra. best definitions I found was here - http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=retox According to the owner Simon (if I am remembering what he said correctly) it was the most popular choice when he did some sort of poll. The greatest for the quality of food, preparation, variety, and price. 399 b at Cherry's. Jingthing
My experience at the new Vietnamese restaurant recently mentioned. Overall an excellent hole in the wall. Sampled the menu. Beef Pho. No side adds except Chiles and lime. Broth lovely. On the delicate side. I prefer bolder but great for Pattaya. Beef slices lovely but come in the soup already well cooked instead of raw slices to add. Also of course as mentioned on the table pickled garlic and a very good cholesterol sauce. No sriracha and brown sauce as Americans would expect. Seafood fried rice. Definitely Viet style. Small portion. Very pleasant. Highlight bigly-- Fresh stuff beef rice rolls with side fish sauce. Foodie level experience. OK a tad greasy but it works with the dish. Not only beef Pho. They have chicken Pho, crab soup, a bun choice, Viet stuffed egg, and more. The expensive chicken too. Still a mystery! This is not targeted to Thai tastes!!!!! Real deal. Cheap as chips for most dishes. No English spoken. Photo menu. Deserves expat support for sure. Among the top finds of the year. Thanks to the member that spotted it.
Jingthing
Brown sauce I meant Hoisin (plum) sauce. No worries. They don't have it. Correction to very good cholesterol sauce. Meant to say Chile sauce. Keyboard software thing. All dishes mentioned about 80 baht each.

Jingthing
With mussel pancake. Different style than the American stuff. You can buy different Thai brands here at places like Villa. Saigon Cafe used to have it but it's closed now and their pho wasn't very good anyway.

I just always thought it was funny that we can't get Sriracha sauce 30 minutes from Sriracha. I think the factory is somewhere outside of L.A. anyway... ricklev
Huy Fong American Sri Racha sauce is now sold in Thailand. Lazada delivers it and some supermarkets sell it. Good stuff and it's not the same as Thai Sri Racha sauce.

Maybe someone someday can convince the owners of the new Vietnamese place on Pattaya Klang to stock it and also Hoisin sauce. Sometime after the reason for the high price of their chicken dishes is revealed! Edited April 1, 2017 by Jingthing

Jingthing
Amma's Kitchen South Indian specialty restaurant In large (first) soi running between Soi 16 and Soi 14 north of Pattaya Klang, Soi 16 is a Pattaya Klang soi many people would know, between 2nd and 3rd, adjacent to the large Thai covered "food court" on Klang. Many, many Indian restaurants and hotels catering to South Asian tourists in the area This definitely for the more ADVENTUROUS people not expecting a canned experience. Again, I emphasize: not a place for type A personalities. What's on the menu and what you can/will get may vary. Roll with it if you're game -- the food is good! Rice for example not on the menu. I got it for 60 baht. Raita not on the menu. I asked for some and a small portion was included free with my fried fish. South Indian food is often VERY hot/spicy. If you really want that (I do) you need to aggressively assert that you're serious if you're of a nationality/ethnicity not usually associated with hot/spicy eating. Chicken Chettinad (a South Indian classic) 200 Very large amount of chicken compared to typical Pattaya places for curries. Flavors great but perhaps not as good as Madras Darbar (but much larger chicken portion) Got pieces by default. Can order w/ bone which I prefer. They have another south Indian chicken dish similar to that called Karaikudi chicken! Have never seen that one before. Got to try. Fish fry 200 (or possibly more depending on style) There are different choices. I had communication issues because first I asked for a dry crust of spice but it turns out to get the flavor you need to ask for version w/ gravy. So first I just got dry fried fish ... no flavor ... not greasy. As I had asked for very spicy I was able to send it back but I had already messed with one piece so the chef smothered the other piece in super spicy ANDHRA PRADESH south Indian style sauce. When I saw groups of Indians there they seemed to be ordering that dish and I can see why. It's great! Cauliflower w/ beans/green peppers/paneer 100 Great dish and such a deal. They also have some Chinese Indian fusion and was told they could do North Indian off menu on request but I suggest sticking with the South Indian food there. Dosa menu and idly menu but was told idly too much work so don't expect it. Budget vegetarian lunches with vegetable curry and special South Indian style parothas. Jingthing
From above Amma's Kitchen: Chicken Chettinad Spicy ANDHRA PRADESH south Indian fish fry. This is one of the two pieces smothered with gravy. Originally got two pieces dry with no spice. Was able to use the sauce for both. Very delicious. The original two fried pieces. Thick. Jingthing
Oh no. The best I can do is to say it's on the north side of Pattaya Klang between 2nd and 3rd closer to 3rd than 2nd and further towards 3rd than Soi Buakow.
