BANGKOK: -- Students with a high academic performance but who do not have enough money to pursue higher education can apply for scholarships from Don Muang Tollway Plc as part of a programme called Tollway Smart Way.

Selected students will be offered a full scholarship for a bachelor's degree, including tuition fees and other education-related fees and costs, such as dormitory fees and living expenditures.

Applicants are required to pass admission to Chulalongkorn (Samyan campus), Thammasat (Rangsit campus), Kasetsart (Bang Khen campus) or Mahidol (Salaya campus) universities in medicine, engineering, law, science and computers, political science, agricultural science, education or economics before submitting applications to the company.

They must not be older than 21 and their family income must not exceed Bt180,000 per year.

Interested students can go to www.tollway.co.th to download an application form or request it from the company. They can call (02) 792 6523 or (02) 792 6525 for more information.
