Playing with the E-M1 focus bracketing feature. This is the result of 18 merged images:

Was this the JPEG that the camera created or did you merge RAWs in LR/PS?

I used focus bracketing (not stacking) in the camera, shooting RAW, and then merged the images in Helicon Focus. Focus stacking in the camera only takes nine images and produces a JPEG; so focus bracketing gives much more flexibility. In camera focus stacking is clever, but not sure why I would ever use it.

I had to check... No, not the same pic as in your opening post from this thread.

oh forgot about that .... facepalm.gifhard to remember every image posted, but some I know I have posted but usually re -edit them .... so not same same!tongue.png
