True Offers To Run A Free Fibre Optic Cable To My House

Featured Replies

A technician from True Online said they can run a fibre optic cable to my house free of charge and no extra in monthly payments. Will this improve my download speed?

OP you probably need to give some more details like -

What provider and plan do you have currently?

What speed does it actually deliver - and measured how?

What True plan are they proposing or do you want?

The provider is True, 699 baht per month, the present speed is 10 mbps and there is no change of plan AFAIK.

They probably want to offer true cable internet. If so, you can get 14 / 1.4 mbit for this price.

What I have now.

14/1.4Mbps on True fiber.

Not bad, with download manager I normally download at 13 Mbps. Well seeded torrents also max out my line.

Single connections (such as streaming youtube) usually are OK but not always.
