Fortuner 2008 Model - Want To Upgrade Gps / Stereo System

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any recent experience of doing this. I was particularly interested in a GPS system that is is easier to update each year with new mapping etc Toyota themselves seem to make this hard work.

I think the current model Fortuna may use SD card, rather than DVD.

Also I was wondering how difficult it was to combine this with a reversing camera too. Presumably wiring and pin-hole camera need to be retro-fitted. Does this cause any damage...

I do low mileage each year, so want to avoid the expense of a new car at the moment !

Any advice or comments welcome.

Hi there/.

try here/. http://www.zulex.co.th/products

excellent service if you want all in one system (Speednavi) maps on mini sd card (not the cheapiest) but very good at helping you. mine cost me 24k including camera, map, etc.

many thanks for this link !!

I wouldn't bother with in dash GPS, they are all crap from what I have seen and heard. You would be better off with a stand alone farming unit.

As for the rest, 15k baht will get you a premium brand sound system with touch screen, DVD, reversing camera etc.
