Looking for good ENT recommendations. Had a look at the pinned list and only Ram is mentioned. I personally dont wish to go to Ram due to misdiagnosis and serious issues they caused for me, and I feel they are all about the money.

I still have some deviation of the septum due to breaking my nose a year ago on a motorbike accident.

One side of my nose also has a bump left over..so also looking for recommendations for a plastic surgeon who could shave down that section.

Just trying to work out where to start!

Thank you.

You might try this ENT Doctor mentioned here ---> http://www.thaivisa....s/#entry6009811

I went to him and liked him. He practiced in the USA for a few years. His fees were very reasonable. His clinic is on Chang Phueak; fairly close to Pratu Chang Phueak.

Edit:

Here is his contact:

I was talking with the director at McCormick and he told me they had two ENTs.

Can't say any thing about them as I never used them but I will certainly try them if I ever need one. I had a very minor thing and went to Ram. I was unhappy with the over all handling. Can't remember the cost but I am reasonably sure it was the highest in Chiang Mai.

EEK--if you have any feedback--I would love to hear it--I, too, checked out the only recommendations and would be grateful to hear about alternatives.

[Not sure what my own diagnosis is--apart from having serious dry mouth at night and real problems breathing through my nose at night, when prone. Some sort of Rhinitis issue, I guess.]

Eek,

I appreciate that you have had problems at Ram...me too, but last year I had a serious ear infection and was treated brilliantly by Dr.Chalermpong, this year I have had something akin to bronchitis with added complications. Once again he came through for me, and he does not prescribe meds you don't need just to pad the bill, there were several occasions last year when he never even charged me for a visit.

However there are some doctors there that I would never use, but like everything there is always good and bad.

thank you for recommendations all.

Im not sure when i'll pluck up the courage to get it done finally, but really appreciate that i can start asking a few different doctors advice.

Will update as soon as i get my nerve up and discuss with the doctors.

Thank you again!

Another alternative is Sripat Clinic at Maharaj Hospital. I went to an ENT doctor there a few years ago, but I'm not sure if he's still there.(Dr Jaras) In general, I've found the Sripat specialists very good.

I'm pretty sure Dr. Rat has a clinic at Sriphat (he used to) but am not sure what days.

He is at Sriphat during the day for surgery. I don't know when he has clinics there. Evenings he is at his clinic. I just called today to see if I could bring my son to see him. Apparently the clinic is closed for the holidays.
