I'm hearing alot about the iPad 4 & heard rumours of a February 5th Release Date... no idea what country that date is for though..

Does anyone know anything about a confirmed release date for the iPad 4 in Thailand or Japan?

I have the ipad 4. I bought it last December. Been available for months.

The Feb 5th. release date is for the 128 gig ipad 4.

Color me confused (as usual....)

iPad4's have been available with the A6X processor and Lightning connector for months. The linked article in george's post above makes it sounds like the release (on 05-Feb) would be a brand new model introducing the A6X and Lightning connector.

Was it perhaps just a release of a new 128GB version of the iPad4 which has been on the market, even here in Thailand, for months?

I've been following the rumor/news for the iPad 5 (thinner; not sure about other improvements), and the iPad Mini 2 (retina display, so double the resolution of the current iPad Mini).

A release in the U.S. as early as April seems viable. (Some say March.)

The 128 GB iPad 4 is available now (in the U.S anyway: $799).
