ive got a rough idea how to get to the transport hub at the airport as i would like to get bus than ferry to koh chang, the issue is this

- i can get cheaper flights that arrive in bangkok at 11pmish or pay more by flying from a different capitial in my country and land at 530 am, is the transport hub open and running bus-ferry trips to koh chang in the evening/ middle of the night? or would i have to spend the night in bangkok which would negate the added expense of a flight with morning arrival time?

The Transport Terminal is open 24hrs a day as there are some BMTA bangkok buses which run to/from the airport 24/7. The AOT Shuttle buses from the Terminal to the Transport Terminal also run 24hrs a day mainly for the benefit of airport and company staff.

However, I doubt that there would be any Intercity bus after 11pm from the Transport Terminal going anywhere let alone to Koh Chang. Whatever company is doing the Koh Chang/Trat service would have a morning service. Obviously, check for confirmed departure times before making your decision.

itll be easier to take the option that allows me to arrive in bangkok in the morning thanks anyway
