Harlem Shake v.FEDFE

BANGKOK: -- The Thai online community has quickly glommed onto the Harlem Shake trend, flooding YouTube with multiple renditions of the 30-second meme.

The dance craze went viral internationally before invading the Kingdom. Based on a track by Brooklyn producer Baauer, the videos begin with a single person, dancing in a low-key manner. A crowd of people in odd costumes, who gyrate wildly to the song, then mobs this person 15-seconds into the clip.

The clip below seems to be the craziest (and subsequently most popular) of all. It is produced by Fedfe Boyband, a group of indie hipsters, reportedly as an advertisement for the upcoming Melody of Live concert. Check it out for yourself:

Pretty senseless and stupid. Would certainly break the day for the orange bike couriers.

Agreed.

Also pretty senseless and stupid if the author Praj Kiatpongsan, who uses archaic US English words like 'glom' which are never, ever used in normal English. He's used it in other articles on Coconuts BKK too. Why doesn't he just say 'stuck on'?

Methinks he's picked this word in a pretty pathetic attempt to prove either how 'hip' he is (but fails miserably, or is just showing off his English skills, and again fails miserably.

If you are going to use a word, matey, don't use one which is never used by others - unless you want to look like a right dick ...
