It's ok in helping her selling things at the market too even as being farang, don't be ashamed of it...you need to make a living!

This is bad advice.

Three or four years ago, here in Phuket, a farang was deported because he carried a sack of lemons to his wife's stall in the in the big wet market in Phuket Town.

You cannot perform any type of work in Thailand without a work-permit.

When I talk about missing my family I talk about my extended family. No children yet. I am disatisfied living in the states you bet. Do I speak Thai a little bit but I learn more everyday. But I really appreciate some of you posts they have been truly helpful. :o
