James Golf Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Will be travel to BKK for golf game, but quite worry if the course had been affected is fully recovered. Can anyone advice the situation now? Pinehurst President Country Club Lotus Valley Or any good recommendation golf course to play? Cheers
Forethat Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Pinehurst is as poor as before. If you're looking that far North East of Bangkok I'd go Lotus, Cascata and Lam Lukka, in that order. And I'd stay away from Pinehurst.
Payboy Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Just got back from a round at Pine. The course is in good condition. But took nearly 6 hours today due to bad course marshalling.
unanimosity Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Forget Pinhurst, it has become skid row golf. If you are in the NE area of Bangkok you would be wise to drive an extra hour or 90 minutes up to the courses south of Korat, e.g., Khao Yai, or any of these.

I wouldn't drive 90 mins to play Sir James even they paid me to do it.
Payboy Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Forgot to mention the university caddies at Pinehurst are still up for the 19th. 1
