Where Can I Buy Big Bags (40Baht) Of Ice In Ubon City?

Featured Replies

I have to set off for Ubon early tomorrow to buy a birthday present before setting up the Hash House Harriers trail. Normally on hash day I go mid day and have time to buy ice to keep the hash beer really cold from the delivery vans in the village.

So I need some kind person to tell me:

where is a beer shop in central Ubon (Warin would be ok too) that has a freezer out front selling the 20kg ish sacks of ice??

Forgot the shop in Warin where the Thai got killed a few moons ago. Can't you just ask Ting from Wrong Way?

Good luck and enjoy your beer(s).--coffee1.gif

kham Yai has an ice factory. drive in with a pick-up or truck and they will load any quantity for you into cool boxes.

I get my 20kg bags of ice for 30 baht from the ice company just before Rajavet Hospital. They have 3 different grades on offer. They have the big plastic iceboxs out the front so you cant miss it. Have a good run!!

Thanks John.

Yes Sirchai - one of the hashers told me to ask Ting (think it was her ex come to think). I never got round to it. Why not ask her now? I'm 85k away and no phone number for her (my wife doesn't like it if she finds Thai girls numbers in my mobilesmile.png

Where is Kam Yai for future reference Jay?
