Has anybody read Tsunami Stories?

I'd had no idea just how horriffic it was to be in it until reading this. The book conprises of about 12 accounts from different people from how the day started and ended and gives a fascinating insight into the disaster from their point of view.

Most people were killed by glass, concrete and flying motorbikes than actually drowning and the stories of the goodness of people were heartwarming to read and show that in a situation like that, colour, class, creed and religion are stripped away with the bungalows and the cars and we are the human beings we should all be anyway and probably would be in a world without greed, racism and arrogance.

It's a small book and the price is a little steep at 500 baht but it does all go to the foundation.

Have read the book, the stories are incredible. Have read many other stories similar and spoken with many people with equally horrific and amazing accounts. It's well worth buying Bills book. All proceeds go to tsunami charity.
