I'm keen to find investors for a small ($300k) project in Myanmar.

As some may know from my posts on ThaiVisa, I have previously built/operated 5 small hotels/guesthouses in Thailand, (Phuket and Ao Nang). I still own 2 of those hotels.

Since 2011, I've been researching a plan to build a similar small (10-15 room) hotel in Myanmar.

To further my knowledge of this market, I moved to live/work full-time in Myanmar in early 2012.

Now I feel confident enough to move ahead with my project, but I do need active or silent angel investors.

Perhaps importantly, the proposed project is not to be built in Yangon or Mandalay, but at a specific location which I believe will result in long-term financial success - with a guaranteed (and increasing) number of foreign/Thai visitors

This is not a 'pie-in-the-sky' idea, but based on a sound track record and extensive sector experience. I'd start building tomorrow if I had the partners

Anyone interested in investing into a new area like Dawei=Border-Kanchanaburi-Bangkok route?. The oppurtunity is at the Myanmar border with Kanchanaburi border line. Close associate of mine has plan for 5 years and secured permission to develop the land on the Myanmar new border area. Its an unknown pearl of wealth if investor catch this investment train. Land secured for 50 years lease. There has been plan to build hotel, casino, cold storage, market, logistic centre, border authorities facilities commercial properties and more like a new township...For your info, Thai border side Kanchanaburi area's land prices has increased 10 times in this 2 years.
