Update On Importing Medicine Pls.

I plan to import the generic version of a brand name prescription medicine that is not available in TH for personal use.

The brand name sells in TH for about 600 USD, as opposed to the 200 USD generic version that is available in Europe.
My European physician and pharmacist are willing to send it to me to TH and from reading previous posts I get the impression that small EMS

shipments for personal use will go through customs without problems. I plan to have my physician´s prescription enclosed with the shipment.

Wondering what the current situation is on the ground and would appreciate feedback from others who are dealing with the same issue.

in 4 years never had a problem, arrives by courier or to PO Box. Samui and Pattaya

Plenty of people do have problems. regular air mail or postal service EMS fairs best but no guarantees. Helps if the package is small, quantity modest.
