those passengers should be forced to buy two (economy) seats.

There is a lot of sense in that.

When I take the train, I always buy 2 reserved tickets esp if I'm on a 1st class train as then I get the cabin to myself.

On 2nd class it gives me that extra space I like/need and I don't have to talk to anyone bar the dolly what brings the beer around in the bucket. Sometimes it flummoxes the guard a bit until I explain the logic and then he's usually OK with it...

whistling.gif God idea, but let's also add.

People who take a window seat and then get up more than once every 12 hour flight\

FEE for that 20 pounds, each offense.

People who put there seat down in front of you without any notice knocking your knees repeatedly,

FEE for that 20 pounds, eah offense

People who spill their drink, beer, etc on you.

FEE for that 40 pounds, each offense

People who have heavy bags stored in the overhead bins and try to take them out when they go to the toliets....only to drop them on you when they open the overhead bin.

FEE for that... immediate execution of their first born male children.

Have tou ever seen Samoans?

I worked for a year in Enn Zed and in the shopping malls you could feel them coming through the floor vibrating before you saw them.

Supersized is how I would describe them and most of the women had more tattoos than the men.

It is not exactly an international airline competing with the big players . . .

Public relations and marketing representative for Samoa Tourism, Peter Sereno, said he believed that the policy would also help with safety standards.

"When you're only fitting eight to 12 people in these aircraft and you've got some bigger Samoans getting on, you do need to weigh them and distribute that weight evenly throughout the aircraft, to make sure everyone's safe," he said. source

Samoa Air operates Britten Norman (BN2A) series and Cessna (172) aircraft. Both aircraft have a proven track record with reliability and safety and are well suited to the flight conditions experienced in Samoa and the South Pacific.

Choose from any one of the following destinations:

American Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Tokelau, Wallis and Futuna, Cook Islands

Travelling on a plane many times between the UK and Thailand, I have never had a problem with any passenger, but going off topic a little bit if any fat person encroatches on my part of the seat, ie, on a bus, they get warned not to as much as touch my part of the seat, and a put my hand in a chopping motion emphasising it, and it has happened a few times.

What if you're just 'stout' of stature by nature???

If they're going to start picking on people who make travel unpleasant then they should start with the garlic breathed, then the snorers, then them with unruly brats, then fidgiters and then people with glasses who need to clean the bloody things every 20 minutes - elbows everywhere...

Aah, Heavydrinker, you condemn snoring, fair point. Does heavy drinking make you snorebiggrin.png It does with me.

Ahh, the pleasant kind-hearted travel companion!

Good idea, but the article is from April 1st whistling.gif

If its an April fools joke then the writer is the fool because A1 pranks are meant to be funny etc...

This one is a damned good idea, I hope they make the fares considerably cheaper for skinny people?

BTW I am a fatty but dont fly much (last time was 5 years ago) so I dont care anyway.

What if you make a detour to the restrooms and shed half a kilo between check-in and the gate? Do you get a $2.08 refund?

According to the T&C all airside dumps are non-refundable.
