Home Maids

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there are maid type home services in Bangkok?

If there are does anyone have a contact for the maid agency?

Does anyone know if you can get maids that only come to visit your home every 2 or 3 day and not live in type like in Malaysia or Singapore?

Also are they about to service wongsawang (Bangkok) area not just silom, sukhumvit area

Any help will be greatly thanked

Talk to your Thai & expat neighbours and let them know your needs.

It's best to get someone who is known and trusted.

My maid was the wife of the landlord's handyman.

Good luck. :o

two problems

1. i cannot speak thai and im not going to learn it as im leaving for good in october 2006

2. i have no expat neighbours they are all thai

if you are in an apartment just ask the management

Sometimes there are advertisements up in Villa (flower stall one, Sukhumvit 33) by maids advertising their services.

Try the Bambi site (google it) they have a list of maids/gardeners/nannies etc. :o

I doubt this guy (living way out in Nonthaburi) is gonna be too successful.

Surely you must know someone that speaks Thai that can help. Usually all it takes is a bit of asking around and someone will know of someone looking for maid work. I've never had a problem finding a maid .... it's finding a good one that's hard!

Last time I tried putting up a sign at this Villa I was told that the police no longer let them put up signs for maids. That was a few months ago, so not sure if it's changed.

I live in Nonthaburi and have alwasy found it easy to find a maid either by asking around or by putting up a sign at the Villa at Nichada Thani (Soi Samakee). Like I said before ... the problem is finding a good maid that you can trust and actually knows how to keep a house clean! :o

This is going nowhere.

I'll re-open it if someone PMs me.

The problem seems to be lack of initiative & a negative attitude towards the LOS by the OP.
