Responders be aware that Thailand's become a popular place for people to purchase this drug for purposes of euthanasia.

Which I personally don't have a problem with, but I know some here do, particularly one would think the declared Christians.

Indeed barbiturates are not widely used anymore. Nembutal may be used in some situations involving anesthesia - such as in a hospital or outpatient surgical center where they will dispense 1 capsule only. But you will never find it (or any other barbiturate) in a pharmacy anywhere in Bangkok or anywhere in the Kingdom.

It even says on the assisted dying website that going back as far as 2010, barbiturates are impossible to find in Thailand.

This drug is strictly banned in Thailand. there is no legal way to purchase and attempting illegal purchase could land you in extremely serious trouble.
