Land Lease Prices.

Featured Replies

Anybody can get me a general idea of prices that land can be leased long term??

I am looking in the area around Pattaya but not too far out. About half way up to horshoe for example would be the max distance from downtown.

Trying to find a piece of land that we can use for our softball team.

Just looking for a general idea before i actualy start investigating this option seriuously.

Tough question I think (probably why no one else has replied yet).

I think the price depends on a lot of factors. Primarily, what does the owner intead to do with the land (i.e. is he trying to sell it to developers, or holding it as an investment, or is it city land ?).

Next factor would probably be who is trying to lease the land (i.e. the price would probably be lower if a Thai was to lease the land).

You might be able to get a discount if your organization agreed to certain conditions (i.e. no permament structures, clean up the garbage, keep the area neat and clean).

Have you already scouted some locations ? If so, talk to a local realtor and explain what you intend to do with the property. Ensure you explain clearly that you are only planning on using the land to play ball. Have a Thai you can trust discuss the matter with the property owner.

Are there no sports facilities already available for such activities ? (I've never noticed any ball diamonds, but then I haven't been looking).
