I have a Chevy Captiva, year 2012 and when I bought it I didn't test drive it, yup I know, what an idiot....

Anyway, the car has about 4 major blind spots and is very difficult to drive on an a road with a lot of sharp curves, say CM to CD or Pai.

If you are thinking about buying this car it looks great an goes fast, but it's very dangerous

So many blind spots? Try a bit the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Then you'll know how to work around with a major blind spot on your right "A" pillar.

The trick is to move your head around a bit... to eliminate the blind spot (and obviously slow down when you have such a hindrance).

You get used to your car.

My Wife and I have just got new cars... Both have blind spots which I'm finding a pain in the neck.

I'm guessing that I'll get used to them in the same way I became used to our previous cars.

One of the cars the A Pillar is quite fat... on the other, the rear quarter view really isn't that great.

All cars have blind spots - the fact that you are aware they are there already indicates that you are a considerate and switched in driver I guess.

Most modern cars you can't see the front. I guess the manufacturers don't think we need to.

Unless a ride has no roof or screen it must have blind spots. The smaller the angle of the windscreen pillars the bigger the area of blind spots.

Nit Piking, the moaners would find a Blind Spot on a Mo Cycle caused by the Mirrors.

As others have said, all vehicles have blind spots. Don't forget to look over your shoulder before moving away from the kerb or changing lanes as you should have been taught when learning to drive.

Also, some of those cheap stick on blind spot mirrors that you attach to the least used area of the existing mirrors may help to eliminate some.
