Does anyone has an idea about prices for autom. gearboxes(used one)I am looking for an Nissan Cefiro, 3000cc gear box.

Just asked a friend who has some experience with cars here in Thailand. He said around 15000Baht

but may be it's only the sensor because 2nd and 3rd gear goes up to 5000rpm before changing gears and I do not push too hard, not doing a kickdown.

Try give it a good flushing first, may do the trick.

There is also a huge used car stuff area off of Pattanakarn road as you're heading out of BKK. I'd be wary about buying a used, auto gearbox though. Surely there are good deals to be had but with the way cars are taken care of in many countries you may be taking a big risk.

The 2nd hand parts warehouses on Bangna-Trat Rd called Chaeng-Khong would be the cheapest place to get a gearbox....10 sois of engines,gearboxes and parts.
