Going back to UK in a couple of weeks and my football mad eight year old nephew has asked me to get him a couple of replica shirts (Barcelona, Arsenal etc). Now, I know the knock off copies are widely available in the night bazaar, but frankly the rudeness and agression you get from many of the stall holders there leads me to want to go elsewhere in Chiang Mai.

Can anyone point me towards other locations where I might be able to pick up such items without running the night bazaar gauntlet, which to be honest scares me a bit these days!!

I guess its OK for tourists, but not for me thanks!!

But they're not really driving a hard bargain at all, when I name what I know is a fair price and then just leave, they will usually agree to the fair price rather than see me leave. Just never stop smiling; but you know that already right.
