If you study her/his? posts, you will see it is someone trying simulate broken English. Girls with her standard of Thai university English don't use grammatical constructions like BECOME rich, or I SHOULD get a job TO GIVE her money, or when I STARTED university.....etc etc

Every time your mother comes to you for more money, she is risking your relationship with your farang boy friend. I am not sure if you have noticed, but there are a lot of attractive Thai women in Thailand.... You could be easily replaced, and then your mother's dream of constant easy income will be over.

Let your mother know, that she shall recieve a set amount... and that is IT Other wise you will loose your farang boy friend, and she will loose her easy money.

Sunshine, I know that respect for your parents is deeply engrained in Thai culture, but you are going to have to have a serious talk with your mother. First, as Random C pointed out, once you give her the money, it's hers. So, don't worry about how she spends the money, that's her problem. Your problem is setting limits on the money that you give to her and making her understand that you are going to stay within those limits.

I think that is very sound advice. Sunshine, I really feel for you - I know how hard it is for you to be critical of your mum, and how you don't want her to tell people in the village that you don't take care of her - but you have to set a limit you are happy with and stick to it. Then, knowing you are fulfilling your family obligations, just have peace in your heart and close your ears.

While they do have sex change operations in Thailand, I don't believe they have reverse aging completely figured out yet... also I believe it takes longer than 13 months to change citizenship...
