Dear all

When purchasing a can of drink, before you open it and drink it, please think about the following.......

Cans are all stored on mass in lock ups and storage facilities. These places often have rodent problems. These rodents clamber all over the cans and urinate. If these rats and mice are infected, the urine is a way of passing on whats called Leptospirosis (Weil's Desease) This is not life threatening but you will experience flue like symptoms for many days which is not pleaseant.

I am certain that cans sold here are not cleaned or washed in any way before stocking on shop shelves for sale! Wash the can first or use a straw!

So please, just be careful and pass this advice onto friends and family and, in partucular, your children.

Hope this helps someone. thumbsup.gif

Probably more likely to catch something nasty off one of the girls down green mango , but this advise is world wide ...

Also check sell by dates , as many mom and pop stores will sell products until gone, regardless if they went off last year .. ( many threads on here about gone off beer ! )

The Mythbusters have busted this myth a long time ago.

Spreading myths like this one as a fact is more dangerous than drinking from a soda can.

Factoid:
Kissing a bargirl is dangerous as EACH TOOTH can harbor anywhere from 300 million to 1 billion bacteria. There are more of the creepy crawlies in the mouth than there are people on earth.
