Vasectomy In Bangkok: Any Advice? Good Hospitals? Doctors?

Featured Replies

I'm planning on getting a vasectomy done here in Bangkok.

Can anyone recommend a good hospital or clinic? Advice on a specific doctor would also be appreciated.

Any other general advice would be welcome.

I see no one replied to this topic. But did you find anything useful. I am panning on one too now, would appreciate if you can share what you figured out.

I cannot speak of any clinic or doctor here in Thailand, BUT I would bring your attention to the two options, things may have changed but this is based on my experience. Make sure yiu choose the correct method, there are 2, one is a tiny cut either side that is done under local anaesthetic, the other is a single cut underneath and generally performed under general aneasthetic.

The latter, I am informed is very painful and has a longer period of recovery. I had the local etc and it was fine with minimal recovery.

Things change, methods vary, but thats my experience, hope its useful.

One final point, be sure thats what you really want, relationships can dissolve overnight, I was sure at the time and lived to regret it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but if I had my time over I woukd never have done it.

Thanks for this. will keep that in mind.

On the final point, I think I am pretty sure. I have been considering this for a couple of years now. Thanks!
