A few years ago I took this photo from a hill in a residential area with houses. I came across it while looking for a gym (!). At the top there was the gym, a pool and even a restaurant. I think some of it was still under construction at the time (2010..?)

Now I can't remember where it was. More importantly I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about this area is and if these houses are for rent somewhere. It was like a long street with houses leading up to the hill. A pretty big area.

Your picture did not come through.... could be anyone of dozens of roads..going up the hills around the island.... . can you narrow down the actual area... perhaps try to re post the image~ ! ?

Samui Hillside Village next to Big C. That is the roof of Big C to the left of the photo.

No idea if any of the houses are available for rent but some are up for sale I believe. But as there are many houses in the estate it would be likely that some are for rent.

Best bet is to take a ride / drive around there, all different owners. Heaps of signs with phone numbers last time I drove through.

Most where asking around 5 million to buy , 35 plus to rent

1 or 2 have been refurbished and are mint inside, and a few have not been look after well

Seems an uncared for development last time I was there , plus many owners have load barking dogs roaming around

What a shame if it's uncared for! It seemed such a nice development.

It is cared for imo, always looks clean & tidy. Don't see rubbish piled up like in some places.
