Begovic to Liverpool - Downing potential part of deal

Have Man U lost interest in Begovic or have Real Madrid lost interest in DeGea?

I've read that DeGea is likely to stay at United

Good call, good keeper.

I'd be very happy with that.

Can't see why they would have any interest in a new keeper. Their back up is good too.

would think that whoever is the new madrid manager won't be such an egotist as mourinho and will immediately reinstate iker casillas.

unless Mourinho was right and the new keeper was playing better than casillas? sayin that he didn't exactly cover himself in glory 4 the second goal in the recent cup final.

But goalkeeping aside, with the seemingly eminent change of playin style thats supposedly gonna happen post pullis, stoke bang on for relegation anyone?

I guess that depends on the new manager, Pullis did try a new playing style with a couple new passing players.....it didn't work and he went back to his tried and trusted lump and hoof. You need to really shake up that team to change the style, and that may see them slide away. bookies odds at 7/2 right now

Is that a posh way of saying he bought Charlie Adam to lump the ball in a box a bit more accurately?

Beeb reports that Mark Hughes is the front runner for the Stoke job.

Have I slept over and it's April 1st already?

I wonder how many Stoke fans will not reapply for season tickets.

H_ell's teeth - its gen. Just checked - Betfair odds

Waste-of-space 4.1

Martinez 5.8 (Whelan seems encouraged that he may stay at Wigan)

Di Matteo 6.4

So much for my dreams of a Hughes appointment at Chelsea. I feel its his spiritual home.

Anyway, Stoke is a fairly decent second best being another chav team. It would be nice to see Stoke go down next season with Cardiff

Better if the real chavs went bankrupt.

I'm beginning to think that Smokie, Carmine and Alfieconn are three different avatars for the same person.

i'd drive downing there myself.

Harsh mate, I thought he had a decent last 2/3rds of the season.

New young inexperienced goalkeeper and a recently failed journeyman managerclap2.gif , sounds just like it could be a tried and tested recipe for,,,, relegation.

He wont last the season (Hughes), but maybe he enjoys his one year on one year off job pattern. Nice work if you can get it.

just watched the u 21's and if stoke are going to put butland in as 1st choice keeper, no doubts they will be fighting relegation.

NO WHERE near ready for the prem.

Yeah. He'd have been my first choice at United. Just ahead of Moyes tongue.png

Thats a tough call. Moyes is more of a steady Eddy but Hughes was a fantastic player and might have attracted some bigger names than Moyes could.tongue.png

After close scrutiny i'd have gone for Moyseysmile.png
