I hope you are right cocker, and Carlos gets on the dog and ends this tabloid drama sharpish He will be salivating after the Higuian deal mate....sorry.
mad mary Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 It ain't a 'release clause' .All's it is ,is an understanding that the player should be informed that Arsenal are interested in him...Specfeckingtacular huh? Oh great, someone who's read it. Can you tell us what it says? Yes ,It say's if a bunch of dippy arl blue rinse mauds start prying into summat that don't concern 'em ,tell 'em to ferk orf!! SinglePot Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 looks like Suarez wants to talk to Arsenal but Liverpool want 50 mil. Will Wenger pay? does Suarez want to go to London or Madrid? Suarez said a while back he wanted out of EPL because of the English press. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23446686 Who knows?
Chicog Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I think Arsenal have offered 40 mill for Suarez and a quid for Downing. 1
StevieH Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I think Arsenal have offered 40 mill for Suarez and a quid for Downing. the extra pound is the coin that carragher threw at an arsenal fan all those years ago. when suarez left groningen to move to ajax he went on strike and sued groningen to get them to sell him. hope he tries that now. 1
Chicog Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 He's got time, he's still got a six match ban to serve. 1
uptheos Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I read this.....plausible? Tottenham Hotspur are considering an offer for Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko if Valencia striker Roberto Soldado turns out to be too expensive.
jellydog Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I read this.....plausible? Tottenham Hotspur are considering an offer for Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko if Valencia striker Roberto Soldado turns out to be too expensive. If this keeps up they'll be chasing Crouch.
Chicog Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 You'll be fighting Liverpool for him if Arsenal succeed with a late bid.
jellydog Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Forward Pablo Osvaldo from Roma rumored to be heading to Fulham. Osvaldo has worn out his welcome in Roma with consistent arseholish behavior. I've seen a lot of Osvaldo, a very talented forward, but a big time hothead and trouble maker. Makes Carroll look like an altar boy. Gervinho rumored to be heading to Roma. A flood of tears from Chicog.
Chicog Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 *sob*. Where are we going to find another player with a forehead that massive? 1
mjj Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 *sob*. Where are we going to find another player with a forehead that massive? That's not a forehead, it's a fivehead!

Chicog Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 All that natural advantage and he can't head the ball for shit.
SinglePot Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 A question for the forum footie guys. We see a few examples of great South American players in the EPL but sometimes their ability comes with a bit of baggage. Examples, Tevez, Suarez. Brazilian players on the other hand don't seem to come with the baggage. Is this a fair observation?

I can't think of any other South Americans in the same mould. Looking forward to seeing Paulinho and Fernandinho play against Oscar, Luiz and Ramires. Jogo Bonito.

The Brazilians develop their "baggage" once they arrive in Europe. Ronaldinho, Deco, Adriano... 1
SinglePot Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Garrincha had plenty of baggage. When I was a nipper I used to pretend I was him. Magnificent player. Braheel to win the World Cup.

Some footballers are just idiots, some are violent, some beat women up. Don't think where they are from has much bearing on it. 2
SinglePot Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) Ah yes. Joey Barton. I was thinking more along the lines of exceptionally gifted footballers StevieH. But I take your point. Joey Barton on Copacabana with an orange would look like a <deleted>. Edited July 27, 2013 by SinglePot

SantiSuk Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Is anybody else out there appalled by the way the Beeb is spiralling down to the level of the craploid pressnet. Headlining articles on their web-site like "David Pleat says Bale is too young to move to ..."; Michael Owen says (who TF cares what Michael Owen says). Toilet paper has much more value!
