I have noticed that all the decent pundits are northerners these days whistling.gif they do seem to know what they are talking about...it must be the success....the beeb is just a desperate old boys club now with Linekar holing them all together.

I could be wrong but arnt the BBc mainly based up north ?

As for caregiver, his nasal whine is just shocking, as for him commenting regularly we'll have to wait and see, I tell you who I rate though, stan collymore i know he's had his issue certainly lamping his ex wernt that clever, but he went through some mental health issue, and dealt with it , big up to the geezer and when ever i listen to him, I always come away thinking his comments are pretty astute ,, makes hartson jason roberts and Les ferdinand look precisely what they are, rather stupid, imo.

Hey idjit who's "caregiver"?

I agree about Collymore, have you had the same problems too?

Anyway this is all off topic let's get back to the nitty-gritty of whether Cornelius is leaving for a world class global footballing mega club for £450 gazzilion or staying at Stratford Hotspuds???

Is that a northern attempt at empathy spouse lad or just another dig

Take it as it was meant, take it as you believe it was meant ,or take it as you wish it was meant...Either way I'm not bothered.

He'll need a few more shekels than that though thumbsup.gif

Yup if he doubles it Levy might drum his fingers on the desk.....no guarantee even at £6m I think.

I agree, need Defoe to keep Soldado on his toes.

BTW why hasn't Soldado signed yet?

Oops forgot.....only a rumour.

Am I right in saying the number 9 shirt is vacant at Spurs?

Maybe he doesn't want number 9 biggrin.png

.......or maybe HE wants it.

Spanish paper AS have announced a hold up in Tottenham’s move for Roberto Soldado, which was expected to be completed today.

AS warn that if a resolution is not agreed, Soldado will travel with Valencia on their tour of the USA tomorrow.

Toldra Consulting, who represent Soldado, are causing the hold up, even though Valencia and Spurs have agreed the 30 million euro fee and how payment will be made in two instalments.

Valencia claim Soldado’s representatives have offered to waive their fee in order to push through the deal however Toldra Consulting are asking for payments they think they are owed by the La Liga club.

The dispute has nothing to do with Spurs who will be paying their own fee to Toldra Consulting in securing

Seriously, you think they're going to sell him now when they see you might be 80m+ better off in a week or so?

If you're referring to Soldado i think you'll find its already done. They've been sorting out a greedy agents fees is all.

Deary me Bob...what has happened to Liverpool's code of ethics then?

Pretty disgusting behaviour innit Smokes, and yes in days gone past we would never consider such a player. Although that sort of behaviour was not part of the game in days gone past. Can't believe they hugged after the game blink.png .

This bloke would need a serious sit down before signing anything and constant therapy throughout the season.

The links to this lad seems to be getting stronger around the net (although could horse crap), and Suarez leaving is looking less likely.

Yeah heard a little rumour about Munich but it would have to be Madrid, no interest has come in yet.

Pains me to agree, but yep if we sign Costa it could be another PR nightmare.

To be honest Bob you just don't look like a team half the time....your manager has a lot of work to do to stamp his face on this side....maybe even having Gerrard in the side hampers him I don't know.

Its tough to take a side of some old players and a whole lot of average new ones and shape it....but I don't doubt him....your board I do cos they show little ambition or interest really from what I can see anyways.

It's disappointing when there was talk of getting signings done early and that we had a £40M transfer kitty. We've spent frig all if you look at the net spend. The fact we can't offer CL doesn't help. If we can't get who we want there is no point spending for the sake of it though.

Anyway have to stay positive, we had a good second half of a season last time round. i only hope we get 2 or 3 more players in that are of quality.

Either way I guess we can expect Spurs to make a bid now we are officially in for Costa.

I thought about your last post....and its difficult to know how to reply given the shambles of a set of players you have.

Three of them are excellent and a couple of very good prospects but the rest for me are journeymen.

Good luck to your manager!
