Thai Lady Attempts Wet Suicide

Thai Lady Attempts Wet Suicide

At around 2am on Saturday morning police and Sawang Boriboon volunteers were called to the beach area in front of the Royal Garden complex where they were told about a woman who had been seen arguing with her Thai boyfriend and had apparently decided to attempt suicide by drowning herself.

According to witnesses, the couple were apparently arguing over money. Her boyfriend supposedly was demanding she hand over whatever funds she had in her possession and she was complaining that all she seemed to be to him was a cash cow.

When she told him she was short of cash he became even angrier and at this point she expressed a desire to end her life. Her boyfriend watched as she made her way into the water and then wandered off into the night, probably to a snooker hall.

By the time the rescue services arrived on the scene the lady had been floating in the bay for around 20 minutes. When she was fished out of the water she failed to respond to initial treatment.

She was taken to Pattaya Memorial hospital where medical staff were able to revive her. She told doctors and police she was 28 years old and worked in a beer bar in Soi 7. Customers weren’t quite as thick on the ground as in past weeks and the amount of money she was making didn’t seem to be enough to satisfy the needs of her loving boyfriend. Therefore she decided death by drowning was preferable to being continually asked for cash.

Police suggested she could make a complaint against her boyfriend but she said she would spend the night in hospital and think about her alternatives later with a clear head.

There is a big sign on the approaches to Pattaya.."Welcome to Pattaya City."

Perhaps the wording should be changed to..."Welcome to Suicide City."

If they're not jumping off balconies, they're drowning themselves. :o

Or climbing naked on statues ! A much safer (and more enjoyable) method to express one's self !

She was at it again on Saturday, we saw her getting loaded into a Police truck on Soi 9. The wife was told she had been running around the beach road naked !

They were taking her to a "special" hospital.

Hmmm, she appears to still be depressed over getting dumped by her German boyfriend. Lucky she hasn't become dangerous.

Surprised one of the TV stations hasn't been showing pics of it. Maybe they couldn't figure out haw to pixelate all the nudity out.

(funny how they show dead bodies, blood splattered everywhere, then pixel out any nudity) :o
