I've looked at that one and it's still under consideration but after adding vat and the service charge for TV and fridge it comes to close to 13000 bht which would be ok but the fridge is tiny, there is no microwave, no balcony and the room looks kinda soulless. It's a possibility but I'm hoping I can find better.

Yeah, I'm with you on that- my idyll as well. Well, I did my shopping about 8 months ago, and was looking at units costing twice as much, and even at that price-point the vast majority of what I found was soulless. <sigh> Rare is the Landlord here interested in anything other than Baht.

The closest I got to the idyll for <Bt20K was a House By The Pond unit. Lots of charm in some of the units but the location, to me, puts you at a commuting disadvantage. Good luck
