May 30, 201312 yr Hello mates, I just wanted to inform you, if you regularly exchange some money to Thai Baht, there are two new exchange shop (tiny kiosk)... It is blue, name is "better rates". And yes they have better rate. Not good as CM and Bangkok's Super Rich but still.. They both are on chaweng beach road on the left. One Ark bar (I don t know exact distance, can be 2-300m) One you have to continue on chaweng beach road, 2-300m after it is no longer one way, on the left side also. Hope I am clear. I am not affiliate at all to them, hope you don't consider this as advertisement !
May 30, 201312 yr Ofcourse you're not. I'm sure the owner isn't a friend either. Enormously beneficial, thanks.
May 30, 201312 yr Thanks, but I stay with Super Rich in BKK, nobody I know has better rates. Will check them out and compare. Hope they change Thai Baht to foreign currency as well.
May 30, 201312 yr Author Sure Super Rich is better.. but it is in BKK... AUS rate... I don t know but should be better than others exchange shops..

Sent from my GT-P7500 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Not really, all the banks charge different rates and the spread between the lowest and the highest bank exchange rate is significantly large, there's always room for another player to slip into the middle of the pack. Take a look at the attached link and see the differences: http://bankexchangerates.daytodaydata.net/default.aspx

If you have notes to change, best place. But if you compare these notes exchange rates to TT/ATM rates/wire transfers, your bank offers better.

Sent from my GT-P7500 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app I know people who make 5,000-10,000 profit a month just by exchanging foreign currency back and forth. Yes, Super Rich is in BKK only, so if you just want to exchange some Baht, then of cause the Samui option is much better.

May 31, 201312 yr fascinating topic. So there two new exchange kiosks that might save you an extra one baht for every $200 exchanged. Apart from that they are just two more to add to the 20,000 exchange kiosks we already have. Sorry if i offend but seriously am i missing something?

May 31, 201312 yr Just saw them putting one of the bright blue and white kiosks up between Bophut and Maenam.... it sure will stand out when done,.. .... near that hotel that has the annoying whistle blowers stopping the traffic. I'll stick to my bank!

I knew some were gona tell this :-) When I exchange 1000usd I prefer getting 30000thb than 29500, yes And even if diff was 200thb, I would go for the better rate, yes. Only when I change like 50, 100eur, I go to any.
