Softboxes And Umbrellas In Bkk?

I'm heading up to BKK in a few days, and I was wondering if someone can tell me where to find the best store for flash diffusers. I'm just looking to buy a couple of softboxes and an umbrella.

It doesn't have to be top brands (like Westcott et.c.), but I do expect at least a little bit of quality (like Phottix and other HK brands).

Where should I look?

Well, I have been there before. About one year ago, and it was all crap.

There is always MBK, "FotoFile Central". Between the 5 different FotoFile oultets there, you may find something. Now, price is another matter. Now that they have expanded so much, they seem to expect to recoup their investment posthaste.

I always bring these accessories from overseas travel, just better price, quality and choices.

Well guys. I have been all over BKK today, and it seems that they only sell unknown cheap low quality stuff, that no one outside of Thailand has ever heard of. The stuff is even worse than the known brands from Hong Kong.

I did see a couple of strobes from Elinchrom though, but that was not what I was looking for.

Guess I'll order my diffusers online.

There is shop at MBK that carries an extensive selection of studio equipment and accessories. It is not a filephoto shop. I think is on the 5th floor in the Camera Town area.
