How To Reset Ink Level On Canon Pixma Mp140

Found this on my wanderings thru' the internet. Tried it & it worked (for me anyway). Two genuine cartridges cost around 1500 Bht. A Black refill is about 100 Bht, haven't refilled a colour one yet.

Got a genuine color cartridge and a refilled the black one. The PC said the Black was low. On following these instructions the Black showed up as full. Worth a try I think (may save you in the long run) :-

Wow! That's a lot more complicated than the method I used on my Pixma MX328:

i gave up on the refilling lark.... too messy .....so I bought a printer/scanner with continuous feed tanks and lines (Epson 210)..... and use original ink..... the generic shit will destroy the print heads.
