For the visa point, i've found a contact in Yangon that propose me a visa like mentioned in the link. Will post again on this forum when i got it. I really wanted to avoid stopping in BKK.

Actually, I agree with what is said in the linked article. Especially that things happen so fast in Myanmar that printed media is simply too slow to keep up.

The main relief was on my most recent trip, when I could use my Bangkok Bank ATM card to retrieve money from a KBZ ATM. Yeah!!! :)
