June 12, 201312 yr Ok folks, just as the title says. How do you fix these jerks at work? Give me your best remedy for these creeps......
June 12, 201312 yr Is this as a Falang to Thai bully or as a Thai to Falang bully? In the office or in the workshop? Both points are very relevant if it is Thailand you are talking about, and need different approaches..................
June 12, 201312 yr Document all his actions, videos if possible and show to manages. Or worse case publish on facebook Sent from my ST18a using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
June 12, 201312 yr Tell us your approach in the workshop.... Depends on the position of the bully. One reason why the workshop manager has to be tough and preferably older. Quiet word to the manager and let him get on with it. If it is a Thai problem, let them sort it out, don't get involved or they will all turn on you. Thai society is based on a tier system, workshop politics are the same.
June 12, 201312 yr never look into his eyes directly, instead, look just a little above, at his forehead, whenever he is talking to you. he will go mad with anger/confusion

June 12, 201312 yr I have a workplace bully. He is in a high position. Big problem and very annoying to cope with. Best solution for me is ignoring. I just have to wait until he does something stupid and I'll just rub it in a little bit more. Problem solved. But he is still here. Ah well...

Thai society is based on a tier system, workshop politics are the same. Supervisors brother. Note supervisor, not the boss who pays me. Understand your problem, not a nice position to be in. Assuming he is Thai? Just don't back down to him, but make sure he hasn't a case of complaint, ie, make sure you are in the right. As I said before, try not to 'lose it' in the shop. If he is working with the backing of his brother (the supervisor), he will be right in every case in the workshop, in the eyes of the other workers. If it really is a big problem, go through your established complaint system and report it to management, even if it means going over the head of your supervisor. This again will not make you popular. Of course, if words can't remedy it, you could revert to the time honoured tradition of beating the cr*p out of him, but watch out for the packs!
June 14, 201312 yr Supervisors brother. Note supervisor, not the boss who pays me. Get the supervisor sacked ( you know best how...), take over supervisor position, start bullying former supervisors brother.
June 19, 201312 yr Author Work place bully fixed right up folks. Problem solved. That will teach ya you sob... Mwah ha ha ha(evil laugh)
