OzMick
Urgently need a local Australian JP to witness a copy of my passport to satisfy Oz anti-money laundering requirements. Does any body know of a JP? NOTE Ken Chung no longer a JP and his Hon Consul does not satisfy requirements.

OzMick
I suppose i should expand this to cover all acceptable persons: solicitor, police, magistrate, AusPost worker, financial institution officer, diplomat or consular officer - I assume currently employed. PoorSucker
Of course you could go to the Oz embassy, pay your B830 and solve your problem? Or buy you a vacation on Samui.
pokerspiv
It's a 15,000 baht round trip to BKK. That's probably why he doesn't want to go to the embassy.

OzMick
Of course you could go to the Oz embassy, pay your B830 and solve your problem? Thank you for the offer. From Samui to the embassy is indeed expensive, or less so and 2 days wasted. I fly AA to the Gold Coast via KL for less than our "boutique" airline charges BKK return. OzMick
FYI - have finally received advice from my superannuation company that documents can be certified by a notary public or a police officer.
